KCA has a regular monthly Working Bee in the Southern Section of the reserves.
Lovely Minio, KCA Legend and treasure, has been a volunteer for the KCA for several decades. Once again, Minio will be coordinating a working bee in the southern section.
New volunteers are welcome. This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbours, enjoy fresh air and exercise, and go home with a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing that you have helped preserve and nurture the lovely Kananook environment.
Where: Meeting location is the picnic area on the Beach side of the Fiocchi Avenue footbridge .
When: 9 am till 11 am followed by a cup of tea .
Work will be weeding and spreading mulch. Old, warm clothes and non-slip shoes are recommended.
