The KCA have recently learned, with great sadness, that Yvonne Sisson (Vonne), aged 92, passed away in September 2017. Vonne was the adored partner of Allan Sisson, ‘Kananook Creek Association Legend’. Vonne’s contribution to the KCA was also legendary.
Many members and friends will be deeply saddened to hear this news and somewhat dismayed that we have learned so belatedly without having had the opportunity to pay tribute to her enormous contribution. Vonne was a much loved and esteemed member of the KCA community who will be remembered not just for her outstanding work, but for her wonderful sense of humour, her generosity and kindness.
The KCA would like to pay tribute to Vonne. We would also like to create an enduring momento of the wonderful work and life of both Vonne and Allan.
