Residential Zone Meeting – Notice to Members

NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS

(BUT ESPECIALLY POSTCODE 3198 LANDOWNERS)

Frankston Council (on behalf of the State Government) is in the process of considering new Residential Zones for the whole of Frankston, including the Kananook Creek Corridor.

Part of this process includes public information evenings to be held in each of the three local government Wards.

The meeting for the North West Ward will be held :

•On Tuesday 26 November 2013, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm
•At Talbot Hall in Broughton Street, Seaford.

(This is attached to the Community Centre and is where KCA holds its Annual Meetings).

Much attention is being paid to the level of zoning along the Creek on the West side of the highway (Council on Monday evening passed an application for a 4-level apartment block at Mile Bridge) and the strip of land north of Mile Bridge, on the East side of the highway is earmarked for the same treatment.

No doubt the TV and the cricket might well beckon (if the match lasts that long), but if you are serious about the level of development in Seaford alongside the Creek, this will be arguably the last opportunity for you to find out what is being proposed and to make your thoughts known.

See you there!
Trevor Nock
President
