Kananook Creek Ministerial Advisory Committee Update

Hi there everyone.

Welcome to February already – accompanying this post is a flyer from the Kananook Creek Ministerial Advisory Committee.  It’s an update on what’s been happening.
As you may know this committee was set up largely as a result of KCA lobbying before the 2014 state election.  The committee is charged with recommending a management plan which ensures the long term future of the creek as a genuine community asset and protects it from inappropriate development.   I’d encourage you to read the bulletin and, perhaps, more importantly try to attend the open session on Wednesday 17th February 2016 at the Frankston Mechanics Institute.  It’s a drop in session and it will give you the chance to give your input directly to committee members.  This whole process is very important in helping manage the future of the creek.
